HAND ROASTED COFFEE BEANS

250g – £7.50 | 500g – £14
(ALSO ROASTED BEANS-GROUND)
Origin: Single-origin from the Attappadi Hills, Western Ghats, Kerala, India
Description: Coffee from the Attappady (or Attapadi) Hills in Kerala is relatively rare and grown by Indigenous communities practicing organic or low-intervention farming in the Western Ghats, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The region’s high elevation, rich biodiversity, volcanic soil, and cool microclimate contribute to the coffee profile.
Available as: Whole beans or Ground (choose: French Press, Aeropress, Pour Over, Stovetop and Espresso).
Tasting Notes: Well balanced with hints of dark chocolate, spice, and nutty richness.
Low acidity with a smooth, rich body – perfect for a slow morning brew or an afternoon pause.
Brewing Tip: We recommend the traditional Keralan pour-over method, but we’re happy to grind it to suit your preferred brewing style.

KERALAN SPICE BLEND- (FIELD & BEAN SPECIAL )

Tasting Notes: Fragrant, gently spiced, and naturally sweet with a warming finish. Ideal for cool mornings or a warming evening drink.
Usage Tip:Simmer with hot water or milk for a classic South Indian spiced drink. Then sieve directly into your coffee cup!
Keralan Coffee Style.
Simmer & Sieve Method
This stove top method brings out deep flavor and aroma with a rustic and homey touch. Perfect for strong, milky coffee served piping hot.
Here’s a clear and authentic guide to brewing coffee Keralan-style by simmering and sieving, a method widely used in Kerala homes—especially in places where the traditional South Indian filter isn’t available or preferred.
